5 Main Range Safety Rules and Whistle Commands

#1        Keep arrows pointed downrange at ALL times

​

#2        Carry arrows horizontally to the ground with two hands. One hand covers the points until placed

             into a quiver and the other hand holds the shafts of the arrows.

​

#3        Do NOT dry fire the bow (releasing bowstring without an arrow)

 

#4        Do NOT high draw (arrows pointed upward )

​

#5       When retrieving arrows, pull from the target face perpendicular (90 degrees) to the target,

           so that you have a peripheral vision of who’s behind you.​
